After working on 11 seasons of NCIS: Los Angeles, Bellisario died in August 2020 after a battle with brain cancer. The producer was 63. Bellisario had been literally part of the NCIS family since its beginning. His father is Donald Bellisario, who created all of the shows that David worked on. He is also the step-brother of Sean Murray, who plays Timothy McGee on the original NCIS. Though NCIS LA has not been commissioned for Season 12 yet, CBS could reveal its decision on the show’s future soon. The series was last renewed in mid-April 2019, so a greenlight for Season 12 could be imminent. This renewal seems particularly likely as the show has unfinished business. The NFL announced Friday that “NFL RedZone” coverage of every Sunday from the 2019 NFL season will re-air, in chronological order, for 17 consecutive days. The re-airings will begin Monday, April 6, with Week 1 and continue through Wednesday, April 22, the day before the NFL Draft is to begin, with Week 17. Rebroadcasts will be shown at 8 a.m., 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. (all ET) each day....
