What will happen in The Blacklist Season 7, Episode 11?
The synopsis for the episode, titled “Victoria Fenberg,” reads: “With the help of the Task Force, Red (James Spader) tracks a gifted art forger who has thwarted his plans to sell stolen pieces. Aram’s (Aram Mojtabai) love life becomes increasingly complicated. Liz (Megan Boone) and Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) confide in each other.”
Though it is not mentioned in the synopsis, the episode is expected to pick up from the midseason finale, which had Katarina fake her death. Per IMDB, the actor who plays her Laila Robins will appear in the episode, meaning we should learn what she has been up to since her staged murder.
Speaking of what fans can expect when The Blacklist returns, creator Jon Bokenkamp told The Wrap: “Because of where we leave off—because Reddington believes that Katarina is dead and it appears to him the genie is back in the bottle and we can go on about business—the dynamic of the show shifts just a little bit.
“It becomes a little bit lighter, a little bit more fun. We have a great two-parter when we come back in March and we’re gonna have a ton of fun. But boiling underneath all that is this Katarina-Liz relationship that is still growing and is going to take us to some uncharted territory in the show.”
This is something teased in The Blacklist Season 7, Episode 11 promo, first seen after the midseason finale. In that trailer, Liz suggests she will join with her mother after feeling betrayed by Red, causing a big shift in the dynamics of the show. In the preview, she says: “I can’t be on his side…Reddington’s hiding the truth, my mother isn’t.”
The Blacklist Season 7, Episode 11 airs on Friday, March 20 on NBC.
