Luckily, there is not that much of a wait before all of The 100 Season 7 will be available to watch online very soon. The CW and Netflix have a deal whereby all of their shows that premiered before 2019 come to the streamer eight days after their season finales air on The CW.
This meant that, once The 100 Season 7, Episode 16 aired on The CW on Wednesday, September 30, the clock started ticking on when the show comes to Netflix. All 16 episodes of Season 7 are expected to come to the streamer on Thursday, October 8 at midnight PDT.
For fans who have been waiting for the show to stream before they binge the final season, the official CW synopsis reads: “The seventh and final season opens with our heroes picking up the pieces of the society they destroyed on Sanctum.
“Still reeling from her mother’s death, Clarke, perhaps more than anyone, feels the toll of years upon years of fighting and loss. The group soon finds that maintaining order among the competing factions is no easy feat, and one that has them questioning whether their commitment to doing better was worth the price.
“At the same time, our heroes must contend with new obstacles on a scale beyond any that they previously experienced as they unravel the mysteries of the Anomaly. What they encounter on this epic journey pushes them to their limits both physically and emotionally, challenging their long-held conceptions of family, love, and sacrifice.
“Ultimately, our heroes must answer for themselves what it means to truly live, and not just survive.”
Before the season premiered, it was revealed it would be the last one for the cult show. Speaking to KSiteTV, The 100 creator Jason Rothenberg said: “I feel like seven years is a long time creatively to tell one story. I feel like we had really turned the page into Book Two and started to explore other planets, and obviously in Season 7 we go even wider and deeper across the universe.
“And I wanted to wrap it up. I wanted to sort of make the point that we’ve been trying to make all along, and I’ve always said that a story’s ending is what the story meant. The moral of the story doesn’t come until the end, and I personally was ready to do that.”
The 100 Season 7 is coming to Netflix on Thursday, October 8; Seasons 1 to 6 are streamer on Netflix now and the most recent five episodes of Season 7 are streaming now on The CW app and website.
