This week’s patch balances out some numbers to buff a few weaker champions and items. Twisted Fate and Elise are two of the weakest units in the mode right now, with many top-tier players choosing to ignore them. Having a two-star Elise or TF is genuinely considered a waste and only used in the most dire of situations. I’ve been stuck with Elise when rolling Shapeshifter or Demon, and her only useful skill is having lots of little spiderlings to soak up damage. With more Attack Damage, these champions should be a bit more useful.

Kayle and Karthus are two of the strongest five-gold units that needed a nerf. Lowering Karthus’ ability power should make his global nukes slightly less powerful and Kayle requires more mana to hand out her golden ball.

Morellonomicon was a standout item of last patch, being built on every Garen in Platinum and below. Runaan’s Hurricane, Sword of the Divine and Guinsoo’s Rageblade all got buffs, making AD Gunslingers a more viable option with the right items.
