Survivor is returning for its 43rd season on September 21, 2022, and will see 18 new contestants compete against each other for the $1 million prize money. The premiere of Survivor 43 will be the franchise’s 621st episode.
The new players will be stranded on the beautiful islands of Fiji and must use their strong social skills, strategic acumen and physical endurance to adapt to their physical surroundings while navigating the complex social aspects of the game.
The Survivor 43 cast will be divided into three tribes of six and, according to CBS, will face a “faster, more extreme season from the moment they step on the beach.”
As Survivor fans know, moral predicaments and dilemmas will test even the strongest of competitors as the game progresses, and—with food in short supply—the mental and physical challenges require players to make tough decisions and adjust their strategies on a daily basis.
The show will once again be hosted by Emmy Award winner Jeff Probst, 60, who has fronted the reality series since 2000.
