“I’m usually a very strong woman. I’ve been raised to be strong [and] my life has taught me to be strong but when it comes to my kids!” Beauvais tweeted. “It hurts, it’s not OK. I’ve been in tears all night.”
She then added that it’s “just a TV show” and “leave our kids alone.”
Rinna echoed the message.
“We are doing a tv show. We try to entertain you—why can’t you treat it like wrestling for gods sakes love us—love to hate us,” Rinna wrote in an Instagram story post. “But leave the kids alone!”
Fans of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have seen Rinna and Beauvais recently disagree on the air over their co-stars Erika Jayne and Diana Jenkins. Beauvais has expressed concern about Jayne’s behavior while drinking, and she has also had words with Jenkins after alleged comments made in a group text. Rinna, meanwhile, has mostly stuck by Jayne and Jenkins’ side.
On Tuesday, the two women were on a united front against online trolls going after the show’s children.
“What I was just sent about @garcelle son is disgusting and unacceptable,” Rinna wrote.
The actress, who launched her own line of beauty products in 2020, also brought up previous harassment that targeted castmates Jayne’s son and Kyle Richards’ daughter Portia.
“What I heard happen to Porshe [sic] @kylerichards18 is disgusting and unacceptable. what you’ve said and done to my own kids disgusting,” she said. “The threats to @theprettymess son!?!! And I’m sure all of the other beautiful children.”
Rinna concluded, “They didn’t sign up for this. What are [you] doing?! The kids—all of our kids should be off limits so stop it now. Enough is enough.”
Beauvais retweeted Rinna’s message and added, “This has to stop!!! They’re just kids.”
By Tuesday afternoon, Richards also joined in on Instagram to concur with the sentiments expressed by her co-stars.
She wrote that “picking on children of the housewives is not okay. It is never okay to attack a child. Is your life that actually empty? If it is seek help. Shame on you.”
Beauvais and Rinna did not indicate which of Beauvais’ children were being harassed.
