The Bravo show is expected to begin filming its thirteenth season in January 2023 but following the dramatic events of Season 12 there has been a lot of discussion over who will be on the cast.
Last season, the show featured Crystal Kung Minkoff, Sutton Stracke, Garcelle Beauvais, Kyle Richards, Diana Jenkins, Dorit Kemsley and Kathy Hilton on the cast alongside Jayne and Rinna.
But after an explosive season reunion that saw Hilton confront Rinna over her past behaviour, Richards breaking down over her relationship with Hilton, her sister, and Jenkins appearing via video link, the future of some of the ladies was questioned by viewers.
At the time, many called for Rinna and Jayne to be axed from the show but Jayne appears to have now dropped a clue that the ladies will be defying these wishes and will be back.
On December 8 Jayne reposted a picture on her Instagram story of her and Rinna posing together at the recent People’s Choice Awards.
The picture was originally shared by a fan and text written over it that read: “Queens. Both are renewed for season 13. Wooooo. Deal with it b******.”
The post instantly got RHOBH fans talking and they were quick to take to social media to air their opinions on what seemed like a confirmation of Jayne and Erika’s casting on the upcoming season.
Taking to Twitter, one fan posted: “The blogs reporting Rinna and Erika are staying, tells us all, they don’t give a sh** about fans or bullying. I can never watch again. An era has come to an end. A disappointing end.”
Another viewer tweeted that they would even boycott the show if the two women were confirmed for the cast. “Agree. If Lisa and Erika are back I’ll no longer watch #RHOBH,” they wrote.
“Is it right that lisa rinna and erika is in season 13?? Please nooo,” added another.
Not all fans were disappointed by the ladies’ apparent announcement, however, as some revealed on Twitter that they would be pleased to have Rinna and Jayne back.
In response to one fan who tweeted Real Housewives boss Andy Cohen to ask him not to include Rinna and Jayne on the cast, one fan posted: “No Andy! Lisa is the reason many of us watch. Keep Lisa and Erika.”
While another said: “Lisa and Erika will be back. Yeeees! I hate cast shake-ups. I’m too invested and don’t like new people coming in acting.”
“Glad they are coming back! Especially Lisa and Erika,” added a third fan while discussing RHOBH’s upcoming season.
Newsweek has contacted a representative for Bravo and RHOBH for comment.
Both Jayne and Rinna featured heavily in season 12 of RHOBH, with a major storyline being the continuing fallout of Jayne and her estranged husband Tom Girardi’s legal troubles.
Girardi, a former lawyer, has been accused of misappropriating millions of dollars from clients, including relatives of the Lion Air Flight 610 victims a crash that killed 189 people in 2018, to fund his and Jayne’s lifestyles.
The couple announced they were splitting in November 2020 and the next month Edelson PC filed a lawsuit against them both, alleging that their divorce was “a sham attempt to fraudulently protect Tom and Erika’s money” and that they “are on the verge of financial collapse and locked in a downward spiral of mounting debts and dwindling funds.”
Jayne has repeatedly denied involvement in any alleged financial scam involving Girardi.
Rinna, meanwhile, was caught up in a drama with Hilton after accusing her of having an “absolute meltdown” after people refused to join her in a conga line during a girls’ trip to Aspen, Colorado.
During an episode of the show Rinna said she had “never seen anything like this in my life,” however, the night’s events weren’t filmed, which led to rumors in the Bravosphere about what actually occurred.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return in 2023. The first twelve seasons are available to stream on Peacock.
