Pretty Good At What He Did

Last week Seaver was elected to the Hall of Fame with a record 98.8 percent of the vote. What was most important about that? “My children will be able to take their children to the Hall of Fame and say, ‘There’s your grandfather. In his day, he was pretty good at what he did’.” And with that, Tom Seaver was off to spend the day with his kids.
