From October 21 through November 10, fans can visit their local GameStop and download the special code using the Pokémon Pass app.
Shiny Lunala will be distributed into Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Sun. The Ghost and Psychic-type Pokémon will come arrive at Level 60 with the moves: Moongeist Beam, Psyshock, Moonblast, and Moonlight.
Shiny Solgaleo, on the other hand, will be distributed into Pokémon Ultra Moon or Pokémon Moon. The Steel and Psychic-type Pokémon will also come at Level 60 with the moves: Sunsteel Strike, Zen Headbutt, Noble Roar, and Morning Sun.
Both Shiny Solgaleo and Lunala have drastically changed coloring. The Legendary Pokémon of the Alola region turn a bright, burnt red.
Pokémon TCG Cosmic Eclipse was announced at the 2019 Pokémon World Championships. where two new TAG TEAM trios were revealed: Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX, as well as the Togepi & Cleffa & Igglybuff-GX.
This new expansion will also feature new TAG TEAM Supporter cards that depict two characters. Red & Blue appear on the same card as well as Cynthia & Caitlin. There will also be a special version of select cards that feature illustrations of Pokémon with their Trainers.
Cosmic Eclipse l introduces nine new TAG TEAM Pokémon GX cards as well as seven more Pokémon GX cards. There will be 20 new Trainer cards and a new Special Energy card, so players and fans of the Pokémon TCG need to keep an eye out for this new expansion.
Pokémon Sun and Moon: Cosmic Eclipse releases November 12, but players can attend special pre-release tournaments October 19-27.
While Cosmic Eclipse marks the end of the Sun and Moon series in the TCG, this distribution could also be the final one for the Alola games. Pokémon Sword and Shield is scheduled to release November 15 for Nintendo Switch and introduces a new generation of Pokémon, The next TCG expansion after Cosmic Eclipse marks the start of the Sword and Shield series.
