Type Skills are new abilities that Sync Pairs in Pokémon Masters have. These abilities activate in battle when Sync Pairs are teamed with others that have a similar theme like if they all have the same typing or come from the same region.
Currently, the only Type Skills available in Pokémon Masters are based on typing. Each Sync Pair in the game has this one Type Skill that increases stats in battle depending on the type and their classification. More Type Skills will come in the future.
Tech, Support and Strike Sync Pairs will boost certain stats, while each individual Sync Pair will increase a stat by a certain amount. This new Type Skill feature will create new strategies in-game and power up certain pairs.
