The pairing of Trainers and Pokémon, called Sync Pairs, are important to Pokémon Masters, as they allow for players to mix and match teams to overcome their opponents. However, the Sync Pairs available to players can vary. There are some that every player can obtain via the main story, and the rest are obtained randomly through Sync Pair Scouts.
There are 65 Sync Pairs at Pokémon Master’s launch, but here’s a running list of all the Sync Pairs and how to unlock them via the main story and through Sync Pair Scouts.
SYNC PAIRS UNLOCKED IN MAIN STORY
The easiest way to obtain Sync Pairs in Pokémon Masters is by completing chapters and missions in the main story.
Brock and Misty - with their partner Pokémon - are obtained when you first boot up the game. You’ll then go through the main story and unlock other trainers as you get through it.

SYNC PAIRS UNLOCKED VIA SYNC PAIR SCOUT
Sync Pair Scouts are the primary way for Pokémon Masters players to obtain their team members. By spending 300 gems in the game’s shop (or 3,000 gems to unlock 10 at once) you’ll receive one Sync Pair.
Each pool of Sync Pairs changes as well as their chances of being pulled over time. You can see which Sync Pairs are available and the percentage of their pull by pressing the “Offering Rate” button on the bottom of the purchase screen.
Each Sync Pair has a star rating that determines how strong their base stats are. Three is the lowest while five is the highest. The five-star Sync Pairs are the least likely to be pulled, and may be the strongest but players can still upgrade their three and four-star Sync Pairs.
Here are the available Sync Pairs found using the Sync Pair Scout.
