Like Thundurus, Tornadus Therian Forme has a different look than its original—Incarnate Forme. The Flying-type djinn has now taken the form of a bird, which fits its typing.

So what’s the difference between the Tornadus Formes? Therian Forme Tornadus has access to different attacks than its original form. Therian Forme has Astonish and Gust as its Fast Attack options, and the following moves as its Charged Attack options: Hurricane, Heat Wave, Psychic and Focus Blast.

POKEMON GO TORNADUS THERIAN FORME RAID COUNTERS

Like its Incarnate Forme, Tornadus Therian Forme is a pure Flying-type Pokémon, making it only weak to Ice, Rock and Electric-type attacks.

If you’ve compiled your team to take on Tornadus a few weeks back, you should be ready to enter Level 5 Raids and battle Tornadus Therian Forme. However, you’ll need to be aware of Tornadus’ Charged Attacks—especially if it has Focus Blast or Heat Wave.

Focus Blast and Heat Wave will spell trouble for your Ice-type Pokémon, with the former also being super-effective against Rock-type Pokémon.

However, Mega Manectric has been added to Pokémon Go since Tornadus first appeared in Raids, so that gives trainers more options to take into battle. Mega Manectric, and Mega Ampharos, will increase the power of Electric-type attacks while Mega Abomasnow will increase Ice-type attacks.

Consider them and these options before going into battle against Therian Forme Tornadus:
