Goldeen and its evolution Seaking will finally get their Shiny variants introduced in Pokémon Go with the Lake Legends event. These Kanto-region Water types will appear more often in the wild, as well as hatching from 5km Eggs.
Goldeen will also appear in Raids during the event, and will also be the reward for one of the aforementioned field research tasks. That gives trainers a number of ways to find this Shiny Pokémon.
RAID UPDATE
While the arrival of Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf are the highlights of the latest Raid update in Pokémon Go, there are a number of other Pokémon that trainers will want to try and catch.
All three Lake Legendary Pokémon are region exclusive, however, so you won’t be able to find two of them on your own. But you can join the Raid if you’re invited to one from a friend in another region.
