WHAT TO KNOW FOR SATURDAY’S POKEMON GO COMMUNITY DAY
On Saturday, trainers will see a selection of Pokémon more often in the wild, hatching from Eggs and in Raids. This part of the Community Day event occurs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time on Saturday, December 12.
Weedle, Abra, Gastly, Rhyhorn, Seedot and Piplup will appear more frequently in the wild. Their Shinies will also be appearing more frequently, so if you missed out on them in the past, this is your best chance.
Trainers can enjoy double the Catch Stardust, half the Egg Hatch distance when Eggs are placed in Incubators during these hours, and Incense will last for three hours, as opposed to the usual one.
Mega Gengar will also be appearing more frequently in Mega Raids during this time, so be sure to battle it to earn Mega Gengar Energy.
WHAT TO KNOW FOR SUNDAY’S POKEMON GO COMMUNITY DAY
The second day of December’s Community Day will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time, with trainers being able to catch different Pokémon more frequently.
Charmander, Electabuzz, Magmar, Magikarp and Porygon will be appearing in the wild more frequently, along with their Shinies. Trainers will also enjoy double the Catch Stardust, half the Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during these hours and three-hour Incense—so, basically the same in-game bonuses as Saturday.
Mega Charizard X will appear more frequently in Mega Raids during the event window, so be sure to take down the Fire and Dragon-type to earn more Mega Energy.
