But will Wendy (played by Laura Linney), Marty (Jason Bateman) and Ruth (Julia Garner) make it out alive? If the (surprisingly spoiler heavy) trailer is anything to go by, then it is going to be very tricky for them, especially as the plot sees the Byrdes digging deeper into the cartel even as they finally had a real way out.
(And, of course, we still do not know when that massive car crash from the first part is going to actually happen…)
We do, however, know the following about the upcoming Part 2 of Ozark Season 4.
WARNING: The following may contain spoilers for Ozark’s final episodes (though no more than what’s in the official Netflix trailer…)
It Is Coming Out in April
Specifically, the release date of Ozark Season 4, Part 2 is set for Friday, April 29, when all seven final episodes will hit the streamer. As ever, these will be available from midnight PDT (3:00 a.m. ET) or the equivalent time in your time zone.
Alongside the release date announcement, Netflix also revealed a 30-minute special titled A Farewell to Ozark that will give viewers a peek behind the scenes of the streaming hit.
All the Ozark Cast Is Expected to Return for Season 4, Part 2…
…All those, that is, that survived the first part. Sorry, Darlene and Wyatt. Then again a recent Deadline article listed actors Charlie Tahan and Lisa Emery as still part of the cast, suggesting they may be back in flashback.
Confirmed for the final episodes are the following:

Ozark’s Final Episodes See Ruth Kill Javi
The first part of the season ended with Ruth on a mission of vengeance after Javi had Darlene and Wyatt taken out. Surprisingly, the trailer reveals almost straight away that she gets to him and is able to fire two bullets into his chest.
Unless this is an elaborate fake-out fantasy sequence, it seems that the final episodes are less interested in her revenge mission than we might have thought.
So what will the Ozark Season 4, Part 2 plot be? Per the trailer, the show seems to be setting up a storyline where Omar Navarro wants to regain control of his cartel following Javi’s death—and of course, he wants Wendy and Marty to help him. In typical Godfather III style, they thought they were out, but he pulled them back in.
On top of this, there is still the question of when and where that car crash is going to happen to the Byrdes—and exactly who is behind it.
The full summary for the season reads: “Season 4 follows Marty and Wendy, who are finally rid of Helen as they climb to the top of Navarro’s empire. They find another opportunity to get out of the Ozarks but some past sins won’t stay buried and the most dangerous threats come from blood.”
