A redacted version of the affidavit that led to the search of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property revealed the seizing of over 180 classified documents, including many that were labeled as “secret” or “top secret” and potentially harmful to national security and personnel.

Scarborough reacted to comments made Sunday by Graham in which the senator told Fox News Sunday Night in America host Trey Gowdy that the U.S. has a “double standard” in its system of law and “if there is a prosecution of Donald Trump for mishandling classified information after the Clinton debacle…there will be riots in the street.”

“But now, [Graham] is worried about riots in the future, coming from Republicans, coming from his party, coming from Donald Trump supporters?” Scarborough said Monday, mentioning how Graham allegedly left the “Trump train” following the January 6 Capitol insurrection.

“Again, also, the irony is so rich, these people that talked about riots, Black Lives Matter riots, it’s all they talk about. Seriously, it acts as if there were no peaceful marches at all—riots, riots, it’s all they talk about. Yet they’re fine when Trump riots are actually putting democracy at risk, when they’re trying to overturn an election result.”

Graham also told Gowdy that “it’s all about getting [Trump]” while invoking the FBI’s perceived lack of due diligence when it comes to investigating President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter.

He also tweeted that the unsealed affidavit “falls well short of any meaningful transparency,” claiming the explanation into what he describes as a “raid” is “going backwards, not forwards.”

Graham’s comments come amid a Fulton County, Georgia, probe into allegations of 2020 election fraud, for which Graham and former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani have been subpoenaed by a grand jury.

Graham has been accused of, and has denied allegations related to, questioning Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger about whether political bias might have prompted statewide poll workers to accept ballots with signatures that didn’t match, and whether Raffensperger could toss mail ballots in counties with high rates of unmatched signatures.

While an appeals court recently delayed Graham’s testimony as his attorneys seek to quash the subpoena, former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner predicted that Graham “will testify before the grand jury.”

Scarborough said Monday that “if these Republicans were true leaders and the true focus was the United States of America and was serving our country, they would lead…when someone has done something wrong.”

“Lindsey, if you are trying to stir up Republican riots, if you think Republicans are going to riot in the street, Republicans are going to riot in the street, they’re not above the law,” Scarborough said. “They’ll be arrested. They’ll go through the same thing that people who listened to Donald Trump on January 6 are going through.

“If you break the law, you’re held to account. If the answer to Republicans threatening violence on the FBI, the answer to Republicans threatening violence in the streets is not backing down, it’s holding those people accountable, just like you hold Donald Trump accountable if they break the law.”
