In a short blog post, the Pokémon Go team confirmed that it is implementing two new changes to Mega Evolution. The first is increasing the amount of time Mega Evolution lasts in-game. Originally, Mega-Evolved Pokémon only lasted four hours, but this new change will double the time to eight hours. This gives Pokémon Go trainers more time to take on Team Go Rocket and others in non-ranked PVP. It also gives more incentive for players to actually Mega-Evolve their Pokémon as the process will now take up a good portion of a single day....

Last week, Pokemon Unite underwent a substantial update that brought the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) to cell phone devices and finally enabled its crossplay functionality. In addition to this, the patch also introduced new holowear cosmetics for Pikachu and a “squads” feature that basically allows you to form online clans. While these changes were well received by the community, the update did, unfortunately, have a few unintended side effects....
